Finmar Outdoor Pool alarm
 How does the Finmar alarm work?
It works on both heat and movement, 3 distinct movements of a person or Toddler ( or dog which is the same size as a Toddler) will activate the 110
db Micro Siren, which can be heard 50 meters away.
 How do you install this alarm?
Simply attach it to a pool fence or wall. It will mount with cable ties or screws. The outdoor alarm is designed for outdoor use and installation.
 What does it run on?
The alarm runs on 8 AA penlight batteries, or on a AC adapter. Batteries is preferred as it allows for protection during blackouts, etc.
 What Range does it cover?
 The alarm is designed to cover a radius of 8 meters (8 1/2 yards), in a 150 degrees sector. Big enough to cover most pools and there associated equipment.
 What warranty does it have?
12 month return to manufacturer warranty.
 What else does it do?
The Finmar alarm works as a early warning device , meaning that it alerts / sounds before water entry is made - before they get wet. It will also protect your pool equipment, BBQ, Pool cleaner, etc.
 What happens if it goes off?
If the alarm is not switched off with the key within 45 seconds, it will switch off and reset its self - So it won't annoy the neighbors but will get them to the pool.
 How do you arm the alarm?
The Key switch activates the alarm, the light will come on and the alarm will chirp when the alarm is activated.
 How loud is it?
The alarm is a siren that is inbuilt into the unit, it is 110Db, so its is very loud on the scale of warning sirens.
 Do I have to carry a remote with me?
There are no remotes to carry around, or installation that is required.
